Walk for Dementia

The Walk for Dementia is a powerful community event that since 1996 has been bringing people together who have been impacted by dementia to raise funds for much-needed programs and services. Featuring a pancake breakfast, a family activity zone, and a walking route in and around Tunney’s Pasture, it’s a wonderful way for individuals and the community to support caregivers and families in Ottawa and Renfrew County.

As Co-Chairs of the 2018 Walk for Dementia, we are very excited about reaching our goal of $300,000 so that The Dementia Society can help an additional 1,000 caregivers and people with dementia this year.

You can look forward to this section of our website aptly named “Co-Chairs Corner” for important announcements and useful tips on how to reach your fundraising target.

If you haven’t already registered your team or joined one already registered, please click on the tabs above and help us help others living with dementia because no one should face dementia alone.
