BrainyActive Challenge 2020

With a Little Help From My Friends

We're a team participating in the BrainyActive Challenge and we each commit to doing a brain-stimulating activity everyday, rain or shine, until (at least) Thanksgiving (October 12th)!
Did you know that physical and mental activities of any kind – especially those you enjoy and do with others – can prevent, delay, and slow down dementia? The BrainyActive Challenge engages you to connect with loved ones and community safely – both virtually and in-person – while respecting COVID measures.
Will you please help us to reach our fundraising goal?
By making a donation to our BrainyActive Challenge, you’ll be helping the 24,000 people in Ottawa and Renfrew County living with dementia, their caregivers and families access the coaching, connections and programs offered by the Dementia Society to keep them active and minimize the social isolation made worse by COVID.
The money we raise stays here in our region. The need is great in our community.
With your help we can:
• Connect people living with dementia and their caregivers to programs, resources, information, and each other;
• Fund programs that help people living with dementia stay active, get social and enjoy meaningful lives;
• Raise awareness of how to prevent dementia and improve lives by creating a dementia-friendly community.
Whatever you can give will help – it all adds up! We sincerely appreciate your support and thank you for helping us to reach our fundraising goal.
