I’m participating in the BrainyActive Challenge and commit to some type of activity everyday, rain or shine. I will usually spend 45 minutes on my rowing machine, or will do another activity such as pushing my preschool age grandsons in a stroller for 45 minutes (much more fun than a rowing machine!)
Will you please help me reach my fundraising goal? By making a donation to my BrainyActive Challenge, you’ll be helping people access the much-needed programs and services offered by The Dementia Society.
Your donation will directly benefit the thousands of people in Ottawa and Renfrew County who are living with dementia, including my mother, Rosella MacNeil, who will celebrate her 103rd birthday next week.
With your help we can:
- Connect people living with dementia and their caregivers to programs, resources, information, and each other;
- Fund programs that help people living with dementia stay active, get social and enjoy meaningful lives;
- Raise awareness of how to prevent dementia and improve lives by creating a dementia-friendly community.
Whatever you can give will help – it all adds up! I greatly appreciate your support and thank you for helping me to reach my fundraising goal.
